Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse to join our growing team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. Make a meaningful difference in mental health care across Gippsland. Join our dedicated multidisciplinary team and support consumers on their recovery journey across community and bed-based settings.
About the Role
As a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed), you will provide safe, person-centred nursing care to consumers experiencing mental health challenges. Working under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses, you will support assessments, care planning, medication administration and therapeutic engagement.
In this role, you will:
- Monitor consumers’ mental and physical health and undertake routine observations
- Support care planning, reviews and discharge planning with the team
- Administer oral and intramuscular medications within scope of practice
- Deliver psycho-education and support to consumers, carers and families as directed
- Participate in group programs and therapeutic activities
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Practice within a trauma-informed, recovery-focused and culturally sensitive model
- Contribute to a positive and safe team environment

You are passionate about mental health nursing and committed to delivering safe, high-quality care. A team-focused clinician, you bring empathy, adaptability and strong communication skills to your practice.
You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Medication Endorsement (IV and oral administration)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health nursing
- Knowledge of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Act and relevant standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
