Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed), to join our growing team on an ongoing part-time basis.

About the Role

Working under the direction and supervision of Registered and Psychiatric Nurses, you will:

• Support the delivery of safe and effective mental health care within your scope of practice
• Monitor clients’ physical and mental wellbeing, and administer medications as required
• Contribute to care planning, reviews, and discharge processes
• Participate in therapeutic group activities and client support programs
• Work collaboratively with clients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to promote recovery

About you

You are an adaptable and compassionate nurse who is committed to providing high-quality care and working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed)
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health nursing
• A sound understanding of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act and relevant national standards
• A current driver’s licence

Desirable:

• Completion of Certificate IV in Health (Nursing) Post Registration Module – Mental Health Nursing
• Competency in Basic Life Support
