About the role
Are you seeking a Recruitment role in a leading regional hospital? Join our busy People & Culture team at Latrobe Regional Health, where a ‘world of opportunities awaits'.
Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is currently undergoing a significant workforce growth and is looking for an energetic, dynamic, experienced and skilled Recruitment Officer to help us source and recruit additional talented professionals across the organisation. We have two positions available, both ongoing, one on an 0.8 part time basis (flexible hours available), and the other full time.
Our Recruitment Officers work closely with our Managers to design strategic recruitment campaigns, directly sourcing applicants via a number of channels and support the recruitment process by managing candidate communications, supporting the interview process and ensuring a timely and positive candidate experience.
The Recruitment Officers then completes the recruitment process with the coordination of Offers of Employment and agreements, and supports internal movements by processing Variations to contract paperwork. Our Recruitment Officers also support international recruitment activities, attend local Job Fairs and Expos, and help coordinate Work Experience Programs in conjunction with participating teams.
Additionally, the 1.0 EFT position will project-manage our Mental Health Recruitment Plan to strengthen our capacity to attract and hire qualified mental health professionals. This role will focus on planning and managing recruitment campaigns, improving candidate engagement, and supporting retention efforts, and actively recruiting to lower vacancy rates.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Recruitment or Human Resources background.
- Experience with HRIS software for recruitment and employment management purposes (SuccessFactors would be desirable but not essential).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
- The ability to work with agility across multiple campaigns and tight deadlines
- The ability to multitask and is highly organised and self-directed.
- Experience with international employment / working VISA’s / worker relocation would be highly advantageous but not essential.
