Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Registered Nurse to join our growing team on a Part Time to Full Time ongoing basis.

 

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and person-centred treatment throughout their healthcare journey. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to achieve positive health outcomes while contributing to a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

The role of the Registered Nurse is to:

  • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in condition, applying critical thinking and sound clinical judgement to support safe care.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and carers, ensuring care is compassionate, respectful, and person-centred.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, achieve treatment goals, and support positive patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards, organisational policies, and legislative requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and professional development activities to support excellence in clinical practice and service delivery.

 

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and demonstrated clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with the ability to deliver safe and effective patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively within multidisciplinary environments and contributes to a positive workplace culture.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic clinical setting.
  • Committed to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, quality improvement, and delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
