Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Registered Nurse (DPU) to join our growing team on a full-time or part-time fixed term basis for 12 months.

 

This role involves in delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care in an in-patient environment. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients undergoing day procedures.

The role of the Registered Nurse (DPU) is:

  • Provide safe and competent nursing care for all perioperative clients.
  • Support patient recovery and discharge planning in line with best practice standards.
  • Maintain compliance with LRH policies, procedures, and clinical governance requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and mandatory professional development.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a positive and support work environment.

 

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA registration.
  • Competent in Basic Life Support (Advanced Life Support desirable).
  • Recent experience in surgical post-operative care.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of perioperative nursing practice.
