Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Registered Nurse (Chemotherapy) to join our growing team on a part-time ongoing basis.

This role involves the safe administration of chemotherapy and other treatments in a person-centred environment. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support patients throughout their treatment journey in the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre.

The role of the Registered Nurse (Chemotherapy) is:

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications in accordance with hospital guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date training and relevant to chemotherapy practice, including completion of the EVIQ Anti-Cancer Drug Administration Course (ADAC).
• Ensure safe and effective care delivery aligned with LRH policies and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and mandatory professional development.
• Support patient wellbeing through empathetic communication and clinical excellence.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• Current registration as Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate nursing experience.
• Postgraduate qualification in Chemotherapy or Cancer Nursing (desirable).
• Previous or current experience in a Chemotherapy Unit (desirable).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
