Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Registered Nurses to join our Critical Care Unit. Multiple positions are available, offered on a full-time or part-time ongoing basis.
This is an exciting time to join LRH, with our state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit, completed in March 2024, providing the latest in modern facilities, advanced technology, and an optimal environment for delivering world-class critical care.
In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment, ensuring clinical excellence and patient safety at all times. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to achieving optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, responsive, and high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in line with LRH policies and procedures.
- Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
- Maintain professional standards and participate in ongoing clinical education and training.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold LRH’s values in every aspect of care delivery.
About You
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Clinical experience in an Intensive Care or Critical Care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to professional development, quality improvement, and patient-centred care.
