Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (Radiotherapy) to join our Gippsland Radiation Oncology team on a part-time (0.4EFT) fixed term for 12 months. We seeking to appoint casual positions as well.
In this role, you will provide a safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care to individuals undergoing radiation therapy at Gippsland Cancer Care Centre.
As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will deliver direct nursing care, collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, and support patients and their families throughout their treatment journey. You will contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and professional excellence within the service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care to patients receiving radiation treatment.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to plan and coordinate individualised patient care.
- Maintain professional and ethical nursing practice in line with legislation, policies, and standards.
- Support the rights, safety, and wellbeing of patients and their families.
- Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive clinical environment.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
- Recent clinical nursing experience with well-developed clinical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Compassion, empathy, integrity, and respect in delivering patient care.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated experience in Radiation Oncology or Chemotherapy (Desirable)
