We are recruiting for Psychiatric Enrolled Nurses (Medication Endorsed) and Registered Psychiatric Nurses to join our dynamic mental health services team. As a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed), you will provide direct nursing care and medication administration to inpatient and community mental health clients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities include monitoring clients’ physical and mental states, supporting care planning, participating in client reviews and discharge planning, and delivering psychosocial support.
As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will take on a leadership role in client assessment, care planning, medication management, and clinical supervision of enrolled nurses. You will facilitate therapeutic group sessions, manage emergencies, and collaborate extensively with clients, carers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, person-centred care.
What we are looking for:
Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed):
- Current Enrolled Nurse registration with medication endorsement (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia / Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Minimum two years’ experience in mental health nursing
- Completion of approved Medication Administration course
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong communication, teamwork and empathy skills
Registered Psychiatric Nurse:
- Registered Nurse Division One or Three with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration (postgraduate mental health qualification preferred)
- Recent clinical experience in mental health
- Ability to lead and supervise nursing staff
- Knowledge of Mental Health and Wellbeing Act and relevant standards
