Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our growing team on a part-time basis.

 

About the Role

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and care coordination for consumers aged 26 years and over. Working within a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and recovery-oriented model, you will support consumers and their families through acute episodes and ongoing treatment across community and bed-based settings.

 

You will:

  • Conduct urgent and routine mental health assessments
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic and/or pharmacological interventions
  • Develop collaborative care and safety plans with consumers and carers
  • Facilitate service access and coordinate treatment across settings
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and data integrity
  • Participate in clinical supervision and continuous quality improvement
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a 7-day rotating roster

About you

You are a compassionate, skilled clinician who values collaboration, consumer-centred care and continuous learning. You thrive in a dynamic environment and bring strong communication, time-management and clinical decision-making skills.

 

You will have:

  • AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Nurse (with mental health qualification), or Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for AASW membership (Social Worker)
  • Minimum 2 years’ post-registration mental health experience
  • Contemporary clinical skills and knowledge of relevant mental health legislation and standards
  • Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practice
  • Victorian Driver’s Licence
