Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Senior Community Clinician to join our growing team on a full-time or part-time basis.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced clinician to join our Latrobe Valley Mental Health team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, skilled and dedicated multidisciplinary team in a full-time, ongoing position. Part-time arrangements may be considered for suitable candidates.
About the Role
As a Senior Community Clinician, you will provide high-quality clinical and support services across our community mental health program. You will be responsible for:
- Comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessment in line with the National Mental Health Triage Scale
- Diagnosis and care coordination
- Delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and psychoeducation
- Collaboration with consumers, carers and families in treatment planning and safety planning
- Urgent acute and routine clinical assessments
- Utilising the CMI (Client Management Interface) system for accurate documentation and case management
- Delivering trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and recovery-oriented care
Our Mental Health Service supports a diverse caseload across acute and subacute inpatient units, as well as community settings throughout Gippsland. As the regional referral hospital for Gippsland, LRH plays a lead role in specialist service delivery and operates as a major teaching hospital.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be one of the following:
- Registered Nurse Division 1 with a Postgraduate Qualification in Mental Health Nursing (AHPRA registered), or
- Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration, or
- Psychologist with appropriate postgraduate qualifications and current AHPRA registration, or
- Social Worker with a Degree or Diploma in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the AASW
You will also demonstrate:
- Experience working within a Mental Health service
- The ability to provide high-quality, effective community mental health care
- Availability to work within a 7-day rotating roster, including afternoon shifts
- Strong assessment, risk management and care coordination skills
