Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Senior Community Clinician – 0-25 years, to join our growing team on an ongoing full-time basis.

 

About the Role

 

You will provide clinical leadership and deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health care to children, adolescents and young adults.

 

Working within Community Mental Health Services, this senior role supports the day-to-day operations of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining an active clinical caseload. You will deliver comprehensive assessments, care coordination, evidence-based interventions and psychoeducation, while partnering closely with young people, families and carers.

 

You will also support the Site and Operations Manager and fellow senior clinicians to implement the Model of Care, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and foster a positive, collaborative team culture.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level mental health assessment and intervention for people aged 0–25
  • Deliver individual, family and group-based evidence-based treatments
  • Provide professional and clinical leadership to clinicians and students
  • Lead and support multidisciplinary collaboration and coordinated care
  • Apply relevant legislation including the Mental Health Act (2023)
  • Contribute to quality improvement, research and service development initiatives

About you

 

You are an experienced mental health clinician who brings strong leadership skills, sound clinical judgement and a commitment to youth-focused, recovery-oriented practice. You communicate effectively, work collaboratively and model LRH values in your daily practice.

 

Essential qualifications

 

  • Registered Nurse with postgraduate Mental Health qualification OR
  • Occupational Therapist, Psychologist (AHPRA registered) OR
  • Social Worker eligible for AASW membership
  • Minimum 4 years post-registration experience in mental health
  • Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Working with Children Check and Police Check
