Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) currently have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Cook to join our growing team. This position will be on a casual basis. 

The Trade Cook will be part of the Food Services team providing high quality meals to both patients and LRH’s Cafeteria’s.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• Trade Cook qualifications are essential. 
• Ability to successfully complete an accredited Safe Food Handling course. 
• Good verbal and written communication skills. 
• Basic math skills (addition, multiplication and division). 
• Strong commitment to team work and responsiveness to customer's needs. 
• Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.

Medical and radiation oncology are offered by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre.

Now is an exciting time to join the LRH team, with the $223.5 million expansion completed in March 2024, offering improved maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increased medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.
