South Gippsland Hospital (SGH) is a public rural health service providing integrated acute hospital and community care services. Care is delivered through our Community Health Centre, Banksia Centre, and in clients’ homes across the region. In partnership with the doctors of Foster Medical Centre, SGH supports the health and wellbeing of the Foster community and surrounding areas, including Wilsons Promontory.

South Gippsland Hospital is seeking a motivated Administration Officer to join our Support at Home (SaH) team. The role is responsible for supporting the SaH team and assist clients to remain living safely at home in accordance with their individual goals and preferences.

  •  To be successful in this role, you will have:
    Demonstrated experience within any health-related administration.
  • Exceptional administrative skills including well developed clerical and communication abilities and high-level computer and IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, the ability to multitask and attention to detail with an excellent work ethic.
  • Professional presentation, attitude and telephone manner.
  • Demonstrated rostering skills (desirable).
  • Demonstrated alignment with SGH values and adherence to high standards of practice.
