Andrews House Aged Care Facility - Trafalgar 

Permanent part time, up to 160 hours per fortnight available

Nurses & Midwives Enterprise Agreement – IB66 ($36.50 p/h) > IB72 ($40.57 p/h) (excluding allowances)

 

Opportunities currently exist for enthusiastic Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EEN) with a passion for Aged Care to join our innovative and committed team. Our preferred candidates will have:

  • Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated sound level of nursing skills and works within safe practice principles.
  • Sound organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Well-developed medication delivery practises.
  • Sound written and computer skills.
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to communicate constructively and effectively with key stakeholders.

 

The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:

  • Knowledge of the national Aged Care standards.
  • Recent clinical experience in a residential aged care facility.

 

IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) may be required prior to commencement.
