Health and Allied Services, Managers and Adminstrative Workers EA (HS1) - $30.75947 per hours plus casual loading.
(Junior rates apply to employees aged under 19 years)
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide reception and administrative support to the Allied and Community Health teams in a confidential, efficient and friendly manner. Duties will include making appointment bookings, filing, answering phone calls, data entry, preparation of letters and other correspondence, greeting clients at reception and other administration duties.
Casuals are employed on an ‘as needs’ basis to backfill leave and extra shifts, casual positions do not include regular hours.
Our preferred candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word & Excel
- Ability to operate a range of office equipment
- Knowledge and use of VOIP telephone system
- Experience in providing administrative support
- A thorough understanding and respect for confidentiality requirements
- Responsible and mature work attitude
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
- Previous experience within a hospital or health care environment.
IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
