In these rewarding roles, you’ll work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, resident-focused care across all areas of daily living. You’ll play a key part in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing interventions, while ensuring residents and their families feel supported, informed, and respected. Your ability to manage medications safely, communicate clearly, and respond proactively to changing care needs will be valued and supported within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

We are seeking casual employees. Casuals are employed on an ‘as needs’ basis to backfill leave and extra shifts on days, nights and weekends. Casual positions do not include regular hours.

Our preferred candidates will have:

  • Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated sound level of nursing skills and works within safe practice principles.
  • Sound organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Well-developed medication delivery practises.
  • Sound written and computer skills.
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to communicate constructively and effectively with key stakeholders.

 

The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:

  • Knowledge of the national Aged Care standards.
  • Recent clinical experience in a residential aged care facility.

 

IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.

All employees must hold current entitlement to work within Australia. A six-month probationary period applies to all new appointments.
