We are currently seeking applicants for a fixed term Clinical Nurse Consultant Cardio-Pulmonary position. This position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to co-ordinate and provide nursing expertise and knowledge to the Cardiac Rehabilitation, Cardiac Conditioning and Pulmonary Rehabilitation outpatient programs.  Inpatient education may also be required to the units for patients with cardiac and/or pulmonary diagnosis.

Our preferred candidates will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Pulmonary and cardiac knowledge and experience including an understanding of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs and associated processes.
  • Experience in health promotion and chronic disease management.
