Permanent Full Time, up to 76 hours or 80 hours + ADO per fortnight

We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Supervisor to join our team at West Gippsland Healthcare Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CSSD professional with strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of sterilising services.

The role involves performing sterilising duties, supervising and supporting a dedicated CSSD team while ensuring compliance with AS 5369:2023, infection prevention and control standards, and quality and governance requirements.

The successful applicant will mentor Instrument Technicians (Gr1-4) and support safe, efficient instrument reprocessing. The hours may be offered to one applicant or split across multiple applicants.

 

Our preferred candidate will have:

  • Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Instrument Technician with the demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support a team
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in sterilising services and reprocessing standards
  • Advanced knowledge of AS 5369:2023 standards
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders

 

IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
