An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced physiotherapist to develop the new OAHKS (Osteoarthritis Hip and Knee Service) program at West Gippsland Healthcare Group.  You will join a team of experienced, dynamic and supportive Grade 1, 2 and 3 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants. 
The OAHKS program is a comprehensive physiotherapy intervention combining individual assessment, group exercise, and educational components.
This is a great opportunity for a physiotherapist with expertise in managing musculoskeletal conditions who shows initiative, high level organisational and decision-making skills.

 

The preferred candidate will have
•    A Degree in Physiotherapy
•    Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - Physiotherapy Board
•    Minimum 5 years experience in musculoskeletal or orthopedic physiotherapy, including advance OA management
•    Demonstrated ability to perform musculoskeletal assessments, formulate clinical decisions, and deliver conservative treatment plans.
•    Familiarity with community-based osteoarthritis programs
•    Current Victorian Driver's Licence
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

 

IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
