An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Physiotherapy team as the Physiotherapy manager for a period of long service leave backfill. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Allied and Community Health, you will be responsible for a team of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants.

 

This position involves a range of physiotherapy managerial and high-level administrative duties, with responsibility for budgets, management of staff and clinical programs, as well as clinical physiotherapy services depending on area of interest/expertise and departmental need.

Our preferred candidate will have:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with Allied Health Professional Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Clinical experience relevant to the position.
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence.
  • Provision of satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check prior to commencement.


The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:

  • Eligibility for membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Masters or other Post Graduate qualification related to Physiotherapy and/or Management.
  • Managerial experience relevant to the position.

 

IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
