Quality & Safety Partner / Lead
Fixed Term Full Time, up to 80 hours per fortnight
12 month secondment backfill (potential opportunity for ongoing employment)
Nurses and Midwives Agreement (ZF4) or Health and Allied Services Agreement (HS4), classification is dependant on skills and experience

We are looking for an experienced Quality Partner to work alongside our acute, subacute and community teams, supporting safe, compliant, and compassionate care delivery. In this role, you’ll move beyond audits and policies, helping teams translate standards into practice and driving improvement where it matters most.
Reporting to the Quality and Safety Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to the organisation over a wide range of quality improvement, patient safety and risk management services.
The hours may be offered to one applicant or split across multiple applicants, with 40 hours per week (with an ADO per month) available. We offer a friendly, team focused work environment, comprehensive orientation to the department and organisation, in house salary packaging and free car parking.
Our preferred candidate will have:
- Experience as a health professional and/or working within a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Degree or other related qualification.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and accreditation processes.
- Experience or knowledge in managing continuous improvement, and accreditation activities.
- Demonstrated skills in report writing and computer data analysis (high level computer skills).
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer participation and person centered care.
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
- Experience in assisting and supporting accreditation processes.
- A willingness to obtain knowledge in Clinical Governance and Risk Management.
- Knowledge of auditing processes.
- Policy and procedure writing experience
IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement
