Our preferred candidate will have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Demonstrated sound level of nursing skills and works within safe practice principles.      

 

The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:

  • Evidence of recent practice in acute or aged care
  • Knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.      

 

IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required prior to commencement.
