Registered/Enrolled Nurse - Day Surgery
Multiple Fixed Term Positions
July 2026-March 2027 - up to 64 hours per fortnight
Mid July- Mid October - up to 48 hours fortnight
I am currently looking for a Registered (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to cover parental leave within our busy Day Surgery Unit. Our Perioperative Services Department caters to a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmology and Paediatric Surgery.
- You will need to be available for a range of shifts: 0700-1530, 1000-1830, or 1200-2030
- You will also be expected to complete all your mandatory competencies and a performance appraisal annually.
I am looking for applicants with the following skills/experience/knowledge;
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- As an RN or EN
- Hold a NMBA approved qualification in administration of medicines
- Hold a NMBA approved qualification in intravenous medication administration
- Recent surgical or perioperative experience within a busy elective surgery environment
- Outstanding organisational and daily management skills
- Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously

IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated for Influenza unless a valid exemption applies. Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
