Perioperative Services Clerk – Day Surgery/Theatre

Permanent part time, up to 48 hours per fortnight

Managers & Administrative Workers, Grade 1 (commencing at $27.75263 p/h, depending on experience)

(Junior rates apply to employees aged under 19 years)  

 

 

 

In this role you will be working closely with the Perioperative team to support a smooth and seamless process for all people having planned surgery at West Gippsland Healthcare Group. While this position will initially be responsible for completing the day-to-day administrative duties within or busy Day Surgery Unit the opportunity and training to work within the theatre suites will also be available.  

 

I am seeking a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic person with the following knowledge & skills to join our fantastic team; 

  •           Exceptional time management & organisational skills.
  •           Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  •           Thorough knowledge of IPM is highly desirable.
  •           Well-developed written and verbal communication.
  •           Accurate and efficient typing and data entry skills.
  •           Strong customer service approach.
  •           Meticulous attention to detail.
  •           Ability to operate as part of a team or independently where required.
  •           Ability to problem solve under pressure.
