About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist with strong leadership abilities to join the Pharmacy Department as the Deputy Director of Pharmacy.

The Deputy Director of Pharmacy is responsible for clinical, operational and strategic service delivery and practice in accordance with legislative and professional standards. The Deputy Director works as a part of the health care team to advocate for and facilitate the involvement of individuals, their families and significant others in planning and evaluating care and progress toward medication management and health outcomes.

You will be a mentor and clinical leader to your fellow pharmacists and be able to see the differences you can make on a day-to-day basis.

The key responsibilities of the role are;

  • Lead a culture of excellence, ethical conduct, and inter -disciplinary collaboration.
  • Work as part of the pharmacy team as a hands-on manager.
  • Ensure the pharmacy team delivers a high standard of patient/client care, always striving for excellence with every patient interaction.
  • Implement CGHS ’s comprehensive Workforce Capability Framework within the department and support the implementation and of the framework across the organisation

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Ability to work as mentor and work well as part of a team
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
