Clinical Support Nurse / Midwife (0.5 EFT) - Fixed Term to 30 June 2027
Join the Learning Services Department and help shape the next generation of Nurses and Midwives.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Clinical Support Nurse or Nurse/ Midwife (0.5 EFT) for a fixed-term position until 30 June 2027. Working closely with our Graduate Coordinators, this role will support Graduate Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Nurse/Midwives (RN/RM) and Enrolled Nurses (EN) across all CGH sites as they transition into the workforce.
As part of the Learning Services team, you will provide clinical education, mentorship and hands-on support to graduate nurses and midwives, helping them build confidence, develop clinical skills and achieve excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support, education and mentorship to graduate nurses and midwives.
- Work collaboratively with Graduate Coordinators and clinical teams across all CGH sites.
- Facilitate education sessions, workshops, simulation activities and debriefing opportunities.
- Support staff to develop clinical capability, confidence and professional growth.
- Promote evidence-based practice and a culture of continuous learning.
- Assist with orientation, professional development activities and workforce development initiatives.
