CGH provides acute care as part of an integrated service delivery model across Wellington Shire and beyond. The service provides beds across three campuses (Sale, Maffra and Heyfield). Acute services include a full-time emergency department, critical care unit, neonatal critical care unit, three operating theatres, day procedure unit, oncology and dialysis services in addition to general medical and services and sub-acute services including rehabilitation.

CGH is also a leading teaching hospital, affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health and provides placements and clinical experience for students.

About Department

CGH Medical Imaging Department provides a wide range of imaging services including, general x-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, bone density scanning, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine. Services are conveniently offered over 2 locations one within the CGH grounds and the other in the Sale CBD. CGH also offer Breastscreen and Echocardiography. The department is very well equipped with all equipment meeting Medicare capital sensitivity requirements. CGH also provides medical imaging services at Maffra, Yarram and Fulham correctional centre.

About the Role

You will be expected to work collaboratively to provide reception and administrative support services to patients/clients and Health practitioners; achieving and maintaining high standards of patient care; continuity of service; efficient use of resources and upholding and fulfilling the organization’s vision, mission and values.

Duties

• Provide reception and administrative support services for the Medical Imaging department under the direction of the Office Team Leader:
• Provide efficient and friendly customer service.
• Professional and compassionate attendance and communication of client needs
• Maintain client records under the guidance of the Practice Manager
• Data entry using specialised Radiology Information system (RIS) ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Medical Reception/administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Minimum cert III in administration.
