Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for perioperative nursing? We're looking for a motivated and patient-focused nurse to join our friendly and supportive Operating Theatre team at Central Gippsland Health (CGH) on a permanent part-time basis.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse within our Perioperative Services team, you'll contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care across a variety of surgical specialties. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where professional development and teamwork are highly valued.
Key responsibilities would be:
- Provide high-quality nursing care across Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery.
- Deliver patient-centred care across a broad range of surgical specialties including:
- Endoscopy
- Orthopaedics
- General Surgery
- ENT
- Ophthalmology
- Gynaecology
- Dental
- Obstetrics
- Paediatrics
- Urology
- Support the Nurse Unit Manager and the perioperative team to promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
- Participate in the on-call roster.
- Contribute positively to service improvement and organisational change initiatives.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, evidence-based care.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical judgement and the ability to perform well in busy, high-pressure environments.
- Previous experience in Perioperative, Anaesthetic and/or Recovery nursing (preferred).
