CGH provides acute care as part of an integrated service delivery model across Wellington Shire and beyond. The service provides beds across three campuses (Sale, Maffra and Heyfield). Acute services include a full-time emergency department, critical care unit, neonatal critical care unit, three operating theatres, day procedure unit, oncology and dialysis services in addition to general medical and services and sub-acute services including rehabilitation.
CGH is also a leading teaching hospital, affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health and provides placements and clinical experience for students.

We have an exciting opportunity to come and join our join our dynamic Perioperative team in Sale Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
- Duties will include all aspects of Scrub/Scout, Recovery and/or Anaesthetics Nursing
- Specialities include Endoscopy, Orthopaedic, General, ENT, Ophthalmology, gynaecology, Dental, Obstetrics, paediatrics and Urology.
- Supports the Nurse Unit Manager and the team to review and evaluate best practice, evidence based clinical care.
- Cover on call Roster
- Role models a positive vision for change and supports change management at both local and organisational level
Skills & Experience
- Be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency and commitment in complying with current standards of practice
- Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Proven ability to respond appropriately to high pressure situations
- Facilitate and foster best practice and care delivery to our patients
- Previous experience and knowledge of Perioperative/Anaesthetic/Recovery room Nursing preferred
