About Department
The Pharmacy Department services the Sale, Maffra and Heyfield campuses of Central Gippsland Health. You will be working in a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment as part of a diverse team which includes pharmacists, pharmacy interns and experienced pharmacy technicians.
About the Role
We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to join the team at the Pharmacy Department of Central Gippsland Health based at Sale campus. The position suits someone who is a team player with excellent communication and computing skills.
Would suit pharmacy technician with experience in community pharmacy. Applicants without pharmacy experience will also be considered with training provided on commencement.
There is possibility to hire a Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 technicians, based on experience.
Duties
Work within a team to provide support for technical duties such as:
- Dispensing
- Supplying medications to clinical areas
- Visiting remote sites to facilitate medication supply
- Stock management including ordering and receipting of goods
- Actively participating in medication safety and other departmental projects
About You
- Ready for a new challenge!
- Hospital or community pharmacy experience preferred
- Prior completion of Certificate III Hospital Pharmacy Technician course is desirable but not essential.
- We will consider applicants who are willing to undergo an applicable training course.
- Careful attention to detail
